How optical mice works ?

Developed by Agilent Technologies and introduced to the world in late 1999, the optical mouse actually uses a tiny camera to take 1,500 pictures every second.

Able to work on almost any surface, the mouse has a small, red light-emitting diode (LED) that bounces light off that surface onto a complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) sensor. The CMOS sensor sends each image to a digital signal processor (DSP) for analysis. The DSP, operating at 18 MIPS (million instructions per second), is able to detect patterns in the images and see how those patterns have moved since the previous image.

Based on the change in patterns over a sequence of images, the DSP determines how far the mouse has moved and sends the corresponding coordinates to the computer.

The computer moves the cursor on the screen based on the coordinates received from the mouse. This happens hundreds of times each second, making the cursor appear to move very smoothly.

Picasa 3 is the latest release of the software from Google, and comes as a much amped up successor to Picasa 2.7. Some features have been added, and some functions have been changed. Overall, it is an improvement, with a markedly better upload (a lot less failures), some nifty new features, but a slightly bugging and confusing interface. It is a pain to add pictures, the automatic scanning goes haywire on your hard drive (we recommend not setting Picasa 3 loose on your hard drive to scan the folders automatically), and adding folders manually mysteriously fails from time to time. However, the hosting facility is one of the best free ones around, so this is taking you through some of the interesting stuff you can do with the software.

View All Portraits

This is a really interesting feature in Picasa. You can view all the photos across all the albums with faces. To the left of the search bar, on the top, click on the face icon. Click on the icon again to get out of this mode, or click on ‘back to view all’. This is a filter, the other filter for photographs available is all the pictures that are starred.

Upload A Slideshow To YouTube

Select the ‘Movie’ button in the bottom bar of Picasa. The first slide will be a text slide to introduce the slideshow. Rearrange the photos, add captions, select a music, select the transitions, and preview the slideshow a few times. Once you are done, click on save movie, and then use the YouTube upload button in the interface to put the movie on YouTube. Needless to say, you need to have a Google account and an Internet connection for this feature to work.

Sync Picasa3 Software And Web Albums

On the top right corner, above the album or folder is the sync button. Using this feature automatically saves all changes you have made to your copy of the album to the version of the album on Picasa. This works for changes to the file, the tags, and photos added or deleted to the album. This does not work for re-ordering the photos around in the album and changes made to the file names.

Touch Up Photos

This is used to remove spots from the surface of the lense, artefacts caused due to dust particles or water droplets, and scratches and dust from old photographs.

Double-click on an image once it is added to an album. Under the ‘Basic fixes’ tag, select ‘Retouch’. Use the ‘Brush size’ slider to select a brush size. Ideally, you should select a brush size a little larger than the size of the artefact you are trying to remove. Click once on the blot, and click to a similar place elsewhere in the picture. The smaller the brush size, the less noticeable the patch up will be. Hovering over different parts of the picture, you should see the blot getting covered up. You can undo a bad patch in this window itself. Once you are done fixing everything, click on apply.

If you want to undo your changes, you cannot automatically redo them.

Screencapture Album

As long as Picasa is running, taking a screenshot of the screen using the [Print Screen] button will save the image and add it to Picasa.

Improve All Your Photos

This feature works to different degrees of effectiveness for different photos, but is one of those buttons that looks like magic. If you trust Google more than your photography skills, select an album go to Picture > Batch Edit > I’m feeling lucky. There is no explanation for exactly what this does to your photos, but some photos were improved, some were horribly damaged. Copy all your files to another folder before you try this though, before something goes horribly wrong.

Collage

The collage view in Picasa is a interesting little feature to give previews for your Web albums. On top of the folder or album, next to the play slideshow button, is the Make Collage button. Click on this button, and you will be taken to the collage window. The default collage option is the picture pile, with three border settings, no border, white border, and instant camera border. If your pictures are captioned, the captions will show up next to the photos in the collage. There are five other collage options available, mosaic, frame mosaic, grid, contact sheet and multiple exposure. The mosaic arranges pictures in blocks of random sizes. The frame mosaic displays one image in the centre, and frames it with the other photos. The grid and contact sheet have cells of equal sized images, and the multiple exposure mosaic is a strange option to superimpose all the images in an album on top of one another. Do not use this option even by mistake in an album or folder with a lot of photos unless you want to crash your computer.

Search For Photos By Colour

This is an experimental feature in Picasa 3, that lets you search for all the photos with a color scheme. Google searches for Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple and BW photos. We wish they would have included a colour picker for this feature. Go to Tools > Experimental, and search for and click a colour. The orange search returns everything from red to yellow. The green and blue searches are most accurate. The black and white searches returns all pale and grey colors, not photos that are strictly black and white.

Customise The Bottom Toolbar

Picasa 3 allows you to remove the rarely used features from the bottom toolbar. Go to Tools > Configure buttons, then remove, add or re-order the buttons as per your requirements and save the settings.

Get Rid Of Duplicate Files

To get rid of duplicate files, go to Tools > Experimental > Show duplicate files. Then select one copy of the files and press the delete button.

Copy protect your photos

To automatically add a watermark to all the photos you upload to Picasa, go to Tools > Options and then select the ‘Web albums’ tab. Check the ‘Add a watermark for all photo uploads’ checkbox and edit the text in the field. The photos uploaded to Picasa will have the watermark, but the photos on your disk will be untouched.

Google Chrome is another milestone in Google’s grand plans of world domination — and they are finding very few people who complain. Chrome is an extremely fast and lightweight browser. It packs in a ton of features in a minimal interface, and introduces some novel ideas to the whole idea of browsing. The top bar and the menu bar have been omitted completely, leaving a rather large space for browsing.

Inspect Memory Usage

Chrome has some advanced options for inspecting memory usage. Right-click on the browser tab in the start bar select ‘Task Manager’. You will get a window showing how much memory is being used by each tab in the browser. Now click on ‘Stats for Nerds’ and a new tab will open in the browser, with a process ID, name of the site, memory and virtual memory usage. The great thing about this feature is that if you are using other browsers at the same time, then the tab shows the memory usage by that browser as well.

Bookmarks

To bookmark a page, click on the star icon next to the address bar. To access the list of bookmarks at any point of time during browsing, key in [Ctrl] + [B]. To make it disappear, use the same shortcut again.

Incognito Mode

Chrome has a secret mode that allows you to surf the Web anonymously. On the top right corner of the browser, to the right of the address bar is the page control button. Click on it and select ‘New incognito window’ or [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [N]. The sites surfed using this mode will not appear in the history, and the cookies they store on the system will be deleted as soon as the tab is closed.

Make Google Chrome Your Default Browser

Click on the ‘Customize and Control Google Chrome’ button to the right of the address bar, click on ‘Options’ and under ‘Default browser’ click on the ‘Make Google Chrome my default browser’ button.

Navigation Tips

Right-click on the back and next buttons to go through a recent history of visited Web sites. Drag and drop any tab from the browser into the desktop to start a browser with just that tab open. To open a tab you have just closed by mistake, use the keys [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [T]. Use [Ctrl] + [1] to [9] to cycle through tabs from the keyboard.

Expand Text Boxes

This is a very useful feature for use in any kind of site that requires you to fill in text in a text area. When you come across a text area in a forum or a form in a Web site, just click on the bottom right corner of the text area, click and drag it as per your requirements.

Inspect Memory Usage By A Site

Right-click on any empty space in the Web page, click on inspect element. This is, by the way, how you view the source code of a site on Chrome. Once here, click on the first line of the HTML code, which will effectively select the entire site. Then click on resources. This shows up the usage of memory by each element in the Web page. You can sort the elements by time or by size. If you reload the page, every image and script on the page shows up in the graph and gets plotted in real time.

This type of problem normally occurs because some virus called ‘PET32.exe’ , or it can also occur due some other virus which disrupt the windows registry.
Fix:
If search opens when you double click on folder in windows explorer, then see the fix below:
We need to repair some registry entry damaged by virus corresponding to windows shell. Follow either of the steps below:
First :
1. Open Start >> Run or press Window Key + r , this will open the run prompt.
2. Type “regedit” ( without quotes ) and press Enter.
3. Navigate to key
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
4. Double the registry key named Default and set the value to none.
This will restore the normal windows explorer behavior of opening a folder when you double click a folder rather than opening windows search.

Second :
1. Open Start >> Run or press Window key + r
2. Type “regsvr32 /i shell32.dll” ( without quotes ) and press Enter
After the command run successfully, you will see a message saying DllRegisterServer and DllInstall in Shell32.dll succeeded.

Drives open in new window on double clicking !!

On double click on any of the drive to open, it opens automatically in new window.
As we all know the expected behaviour is that each drive opens in the same window until a user has explicitly set the option Open Each Folder In Its Own Window. under File menu >> Tools >> Folder Options in General.
Why It drive opens in new window?
It happens when a program or virus tries to edit the File Folder or Drive shell entries to add more context menu items and set them as default for double click action.
Fix:
First Method:
1. Open Start >> Run and type regsvr32 /i shell32.dll
2. press ok
3. You will see a message DllRegisterServer and DllInstall in shell32.dll succeeded
4. that’s it

Second Method:
1. Open Start >> Run and type regedit
2. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/Directory/Shell
3. Double click the default key type none and press ok.

Third Method:
If you don’t want to play with the registry ,you can run the following command instead at
Run Prompt: ( Open Start >> Run )
“reg add hkcr\drive\shell /ve /d none /f” (without double quotes)

Try restarting it in safe mode. Press at startup, and select the safe mode option. Safe mode starts your system with a minimal set of drivers, so you can better troubleshoot your PC.

Cyber Stalking

Cyber stalking involves following a person's movements across the Internet by posting messages (sometimes threatening) on the bulletin boards frequented by the victim, entering the chat-rooms frequented by the victim, constantly bombarding the victim with emails etc.

The behavior also includes false accusations, monitoring, the transmission of threats, identity theft, damage to data or equipment, the solicitation of minors for sexual purposes, and gathering information for harassment purposes.

Key factors identified :-
(1) False accusations - Many cyberstalkers try to damage the reputation of their victim and turn other people against them. They post false information about them on websites. They may set up their own websites, blogs or user pages for this purpose. They post allegations about the victim to newsgroups, chat rooms or other sites that allow public contributions

(2) Attempts to gather information about the victim. Cyberstalkers may approach their victim's friends, family and work colleagues to obtain personal information. They may advertise for information on the Internet, or hire a private detective. They often will monitor the victim's online activities and attempt to trace their IP address in an effort to gather more information about their victims

(3) False victimization - The cyberstalker will claim that the victim is harassing him/her. Bocij writes that this phenomenon has been noted in a number of well-known cases.

(4) Attacks on data and equipment - They may try to damage the victim's computer by sending viruses.

(5) Ordering goods and services - They order items or subscribe to magazines in the victim's name.

For those of you who have been regularly using GMail, the recent arrival of unexplained chats from your friends might have piqued your curiosity. Though usually I'm highly suspicious of these sorts of clicks, I went ahead and clicked it. (After all, Firefox, my favourite web browser has quite a decent track record as far as security is concerned).The site that opened up looked like:

There are all kinds of people in the world and some are likely to enter their Google ids and passwords due to ignorance. In my opinion, this site is a fraud that is directly and obviously obtaining access to userids and passwords of GMail accounts and using them to perpetuate a mass mailing campaign from within the comfortable confines of your GMail inbox. The fact that there exists a hidden link to admob.com (a highly SEOed advert site - see image) by means of a 1px x 1px image, bolsters my gut feeling about this site. Beware all of you who get a link to heysan.com - I think that its just the tip of a very large iceberg. Recent reports of a click based vulnerability in all browsers is a further cause for tension. Be on your toes everyone!

Introduction :
This month (September 2008) AmigaOS 4.1 was released .
Although AmigaOS is a veteran in the field (many have fond memories of the original Amiga computer), its current version is a fully modern OS. AmigaOS only runs on specific PowerPC-based hardware platforms . The company ACube is currently marketing and distributing AmigaOS and is going to bundle the OS with their motherboards.

Hardware Requirements :
PowerPC processor running at 400MHz or higher, 256 megabytes of RAM, 100 megabytes of hard drive space, and a Radeon 7000 video card. A Radeon 9250 is recommended, however, as AmigaOS 4.1 contains a new graphics subsystem that—like Windows Vista and Macintosh OSX—uses the card's 3D features for a graphics compositing layer.

The OS is solid and evolving, and there are many places it could go. The announcement of support for the SAM440 motherboards is just a start: there is a large existing base of PowerPC-based Macintoshes that could easily be made to run OS 4.1, and the low RAM requirements of the OS would make it perfect for running on Sony's PlayStation 3 or on any number of mobile platforms.

Communications purporting to be from popular social web sites (Youtube, Facebook, Myspace), auction sites (eBay), online banks (PayPal), or IT Administrators (Yahoo, ISPs, corporate) are commonly used to lure the unsuspecting.

Phishing is typically carried out by e-mail or instant messaging and it often directs users to enter details at a fake website whose URL and look and feel are almost identical to the legitimate one.

Even when using SSL with strong cryptography for server authentication it is practically impossible to detect that the website is fake. Phishing is an example of social engineering techniques used to fool users and exploits the poor usability of current web security technologies

Email Spam is a Form of net abuse, in which messaging systems indiscriminately send unsolicited bulk messages .

Also known as unsolicited bulk Email (UBE) or unsolicited commercial email (UCE), is the practice of sending unwanted e-mail messages, frequently with commercial content, in large quantities to an indiscriminate set of recipients.

Since , e-mail is an extremely cheap mass medium, and professional spammers have automated their processes to the extent that millions of messages can be sent daily with little or no labor costs.

Increasingly, e-mail spam today is sent via "zombie networks", networks of virus- or worm-infected personal computers in homes and offices around the globe; many modern worms install a backdoor which allows the spammer access to the computer and use it for malicious purposes.

E-mail spoofing is a term used to describe fraudulent e-mail activity in which the sender address and other parts of the e-mail header are altered to appear as though the e-mail originated from a different source.Is a technique commonly used for spam e-mail and phishing to hide the origin of an e-mail message. By changing certain properties of the e-mail, such as the From, Return-Path and Reply-To fields (which can be found in the message header), ill-intentioned users can make the e-mail appear to be from someone other than the actual sender. The result is that, although the e-mail appears to come from the e-mail indicated in the "From" field (found in the e-mail headers) it actually comes from another e-mail address, probably the same one indicated in the "Reply To" field; if the initial e-mail is replied to, the delivery will be sent to the "Reply To" e-mail, that is, to the spammer's e-mail.
Method :- The technique is now used ubiquitously by mass-mailing worms as a means of concealing the origin of the propagation. On infection, worms such as ILOVEYOU, Klez and Sober will often try to perform searches for e-mail addresses within the address book of a mail client, and use those addresses in the From field of e-mails that they send, so that these e-mails appear to have been sent by the third party. For example: User1 is sent an infected e-mail and then the e-mail is opened, triggering propagation The worm finds the addresses of User2 and User3 within the address book of User1 From the computer of User1, the worm sends an infected e-mail to User2, but the e-mail appears to have been sent from User3 .

You need empty partition . To make one use computer management to resize existing partition and make space for a new one.
To resize partition :-
Go to disk management application . Righ Click on partition .
Click on shrink volume. Choose SPace.
Change drive letter or path to avoid confusion.
Right click on empty space created.
Click on new Simple volume.
Create partition with right click drive letter.
now --- > Boot using XP installation CD and install.
--- > You wont be able to boot into windows vista any longer.Boot into XP and install software called VistaBootPRO from www.vistabootpro.org which allows to make entry and changes to boot record.

Solution :- Go to My computer .
Right Click and click on manage.
Computer Management window opens.
Click on storage.
Click Disk Management.
You can see your pen drive here.
Format it with FAT32.

Solution :-
May be your hide drive is faulty.Run software Speedfan which has hard drive health utility . ALso you can download bootable disc called Ultimate Boot CD and boot from it and run some more checking utilities.
These will detect if there is any problem with the hard disk.

You can pick up a personal USB fingerprint scanner for less than $100, and just like that, your computer's guarded by high-tech biometrics. Instead of, or in addition to, a password, you need your distinctive print to gain access.
A fingerprint scanner system has two basic jobs -- it needs to get an image of your finger, and it needs to determine whether the pattern of ridges and valleys in this image matches the pattern of ridges and valleys in pre-scanned images. There are a number of different ways to get an image of somebody's finger. The most common methods today are optical scanning and capacitance scanning. Optical Scanners

The heart of an optical scanner is a charge coupled device (CCD), the same light sensor system used in digital cameras and camcorders. A CCD is simply an array of light-sensitive diodes called photosites, which generate an electrical signal in response to light photons. Each photosite records a pixel, a tiny dot representing the light that hit that spot. Collectively, the light and dark pixels form an image of the scanned scene (a finger, for example). Typically, an analog-to-digital converter in the scanner system processes the analog electrical signal to generate a digital representation of this image. See How Digital Cameras Work for details on CCDs and digital conversion.
The scanning process starts when you place your finger on a glass plate, and a CCD camera takes a picture. The scanner has its own light source, typically an array of light-emitting diodes, to illuminate the ridges of the finger. The CCD system actually generates an inverted image of the finger, with darker areas representing more reflected light (the ridges of the finger) and lighter areas representing less reflected light (the valleys between the ridges).
Before comparing the print to stored data, the scanner processor makes sure the CCD has captured a clear image. It checks the average pixel darkness, or the overall values in a small sample, and rejects the scan if the overall image is too dark or too light. If the image is rejected, the scanner adjusts the exposure time to let in more or less light, and then tries the scan again.
If the darkness level is adequate, the scanner system goes on to check the image definition (how sharp the fingerprint scan is). The processor looks at several straight lines moving horizontally and vertically across the image. If the fingerprint image has good definition, a line running perpendicular to the ridges will be made up of alternating sections of very dark pixels and very light pixels.
If the processor finds that the image is crisp and properly exposed, it proceeds to comparing the captured fingerprint with fingerprints on file.

Capacitive Scanners

Like optical scanners, capacitive fingerprint scanners generate an image of the ridges and valleys that make up a fingerprint. But instead of sensing the print using light, the capacitors use electrical current.
The diagram below shows a simple capacitive sensor. The sensor is made up of one or more semiconductor chips containing an array of tiny cells. Each cell includes two conductor plates, covered with an insulating layer. The cells are tiny -- smaller than the width of one ridge on a finger.

The sensor is connected to an integrator, an electrical circuit built around an inverting operational amplifier. The inverting amplifier is a complex semiconductor device, made up of a number of transistors, resistors and capacitors. The details of its operation would fill an entire article by itself, but here we can get a general sense of what it does in a capacitance scanner. (Check out this page on operational amplifiers for a technical overview.)
Like any amplifier, an inverting amplifier alters one current based on fluctuations in another current (see How Amplifiers Work for more information). Specifically, the inverting amplifier alters a supply voltage. The alteration is based on the relative voltage of two inputs, called the inverting terminal and the non-inverting terminal. In this case, the non-inverting terminal is connected to ground, and the inverting terminal is connected to a reference voltage supply and a feedback loop. The feedback loop, which is also connected to the amplifier output, includes the two conductor plates.
As you may have recognized, the two conductor plates form a basic capacitor, an electrical component that can store up charge (see How Capacitors Work for details). The surface of the finger acts as a third capacitor plate, separated by the insulating layers in the cell structure and, in the case of the fingerprint valleys, a pocket of air. Varying the distance between the capacitor plates (by moving the finger closer or farther away from the conducting plates) changes the total capacitance (ability to store charge) of the capacitor. Because of this quality, the capacitor in a cell under a ridge will have a greater capacitance than the capacitor in a cell under a valley.
To scan the finger, the processor first closes the reset switch for each cell, which shorts each amplifier's input and output to "balance" the integrator circuit. When the switch is opened again, and the processor applies a fixed charge to the integrator circuit, the capacitors charge up. The capacitance of the feedback loop's capacitor affects the voltage at the amplifier's input, which affects the amplifier's output. Since the distance to the finger alters capacitance, a finger ridge will result in a different voltage output than a finger valley.
The scanner processor reads this voltage output and determines whether it is characteristic of a ridge or a valley. By reading every cell in the sensor array, the processor can put together an overall picture of the fingerprint, similar to the image captured by an optical scanner.
The main advantage of a capacitive scanner is that it requires a real fingerprint-type shape, rather than the pattern of light and dark that makes up the visual impression of a fingerprint. This makes the system harder to trick. Additionally, since they use a semiconductor chip rather than a CCD unit, capacitive scanners tend to be more compact that optical devices.

In the previous list, you saw that the BIOS checks the CMOS Setup for custom settings.
Here's what you do to change those settings.
To enter the CMOS Setup, you must press a certain key or combination of keys during the initial startup sequence.
Most systems use "Esc," "Del," "F1," "F2," "Ctrl-Esc" or "Ctrl-Alt-Esc" to enter setup.
There is usually a line of text at the bottom of the display that tells you "Press ___ to Enter Setup."
Once you have entered setup, you will see a set of text screens with a number of options.
Some of these are standard, while others vary according to the BIOS manufacturer.
Common options include:
--System Time/Date - Set the system time and date
--Boot Sequence - The order that BIOS will try to load the operating system
--Plug and Play - A standard for auto-detecting connected devices; should be set to "Yes" if your computer and operating system both support it
--Mouse/Keyboard - "Enable Num Lock," "Enable the Keyboard," "Auto-Detect Mouse"...
--Drive Configuration - Configure hard drives, CD-ROM and floppy drives
--Memory - Direct the BIOS to shadow to a specific memory address
--Security - Set a password for accessing the computer
--Power Management - Select whether to use power management, as well as set the amount of time for standby and suspend
--Exit - Save your changes, discard your changes or restore default settings

Be very careful when making changes to setup.
Incorrect settings may keep your computer from booting.
When you are finished with your changes, you should choose "Save Changes" and exit.
The BIOS will then restart your computer so that the new settings take effect.
The BIOS uses CMOS technology to save any changes made to the computer's settings.
With this technology, a small lithium or Ni-Cad battery can supply enough power to keep the data for years.
In fact, some of the newer chips have a 10-year, tiny lithium battery built right into the CMOS chip!

Whenever you turn on your computer, the first thing you see is the BIOS software doing its thing. On many machines, the BIOS displays text describing things like the amount of memory installed in your computer, the type of hard disk and so on. It turns out that, during this boot sequence, the BIOS is doing a remarkable amount of work to get your computer ready to run. This section briefly describes some of those activities for a typical PC.
After checking the CMOS Setup and loading the interrupt handlers, the BIOS determines whether the video card is operational. Most video cards have a miniature BIOS of their own that initializes the memory and graphics processor on the card. If they do not, there is usually video driver information on another ROM on the motherboard that the BIOS can load.
Next, the BIOS checks to see if this is a cold boot or a reboot. It does this by checking the value at memory address 0000:0472. A value of 1234h indicates a reboot, and the BIOS skips the rest of POST. Anything else is considered a cold boot.
If it is a cold boot, the BIOS verifies RAM by performing a read/write test of each memory address. It checks the PS/2 ports or USB ports for a keyboard and a mouse. It looks for a peripheral component interconnect (PCI) bus and, if it finds one, checks all the PCI cards. If the BIOS finds any errors during the POST, it will notify you by a series of beeps or a text message displayed on the screen. An error at this point is almost always a hardware problem.
The BIOS then displays some details about your system. This typically includes information about:
The processor
The floppy drive and hard drive
Memory
BIOS revision and date
Display
Any special drivers, such as the ones for small computer system interface (SCSI) adapters, are loaded from the adapter, and the BIOS displays the information. The BIOS then looks at the sequence of storage devices identified as boot devices in the CMOS Setup. "Boot" is short for "bootstrap," as in the old phrase, "Lift yourself up by your bootstraps." Boot refers to the process of launching the operating system. The BIOS will try to initiate the boot sequence from the first device. If the BIOS does not find a device, it will try the next device in the list. If it does not find the proper files on a device, the startup process will halt. If you have ever left a floppy disk in the drive when you restarted your computer, you have probably seen this message.

This is the message you get if a floppy disk is
in the drive when you restart your computer.

The BIOS has tried to boot the computer off of the floppy disk left in the drive. Since it did not find the correct system files, it could not continue. Of course, this is an easy fix. Simply pop out the disk and press a key to continue.

When you turn on your computer and the microprocessor tries to execute its first instruction, it has to get that instruction from somewhere. To edit this feature, you will need to be logged into your computer with administrative rights.

Yes friends !!!
Hide your drive and your data won't be detected by anyone. This is a property of windows that it cannot detect drives which are not assigned a letter.
So lets move ahead with the process :

Step 1 : Goto RUN

Step 2 : Type DISKPART or diskpart

Step 3 : To list all your drives type - list volume

Step 4 : To select a particular volume, type - select volume (number of the drive)

Step 5 : Now remove letter of the drive, type - remove letter (letter of the drive)

Step 6 : The computer may or may not ask for a restart for the chnges to take effect

Step 7 : Enjoy !!!

This way your data wont be tracked even while searching.Please dont try this with th windows partition (i.e. your C: ).

To make the drive reappear follow the same steps just REPLACE remove with assign and you are done. The drive will reappear.

Hi friends,
Last time i told you about making fake viruses.This time round i am gonna tell you how to change your password without going to the user accounts.
Let's get down to business straight away.
To start with,you need administrator rights to do this.

Step 1 : Goto start.
Step 2 : Run
Step 3 : type in cmd
Step 4 : Command prompt opens up
Step 5 : type in : net user
This will show a list of users.
Step 6 : type in : net user username *
Step 7 : The computer will prompt you to enter the new password. enter the new password and then press enter.
Re enter the password to confirm and then press enter again.
Step 8 : your password has been changed. Now you can exit by typing exit at the prompt.

So,let's get started.
First step : Right click on the desktop and go to New->Shortcut.

Second step : A window will open up.

Type the following in the text box:
shutdown -s -t 1000 -c "trojan.exe"

Third step : Now press enter. A new window will open.
In this window type the name you want to give to your shortcut.
Then Press Finish.

Now right click again and go to properties of the shortcut and change the icon to something RELEVANT.

Your Fake Virus is Ready

The moment you will double click on it. your computer will show some time given after -t in the text with the message given in the " " and will shutdown after that particular seconds provided.

The only way to stop this is to go to run and type:
shutdown -a

First method :

Follow the step:-
go to desktop->My computer-(right click on)->properties->then go HARDWARE tab->Device manager-> now u see a window of Device managerthen go to Ports->Communication Port(double click on it and Open).
After open u can see a Communication Port properties.
Go the Port Setting:----and now increase ur "Bits per second" to 128000.
And "Flow control" change 2 Hardware.

just Click Start then Run and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes.This opens the group policy editor. Then go to:
Local Computer Policy
then Computer Configuration
then Administrative Templates then Network then QOS Packet Scheduler and then to Limit Reservable Bandwidth.

Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab i.e."By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default."
So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%......................
